Last Chance Audubon would like to welcome members and friends of LCAS to join us for the 2019 Christmas Bird Count (CBC).  This family friendly event will take place on Saturday, December 14 with an evening potluck to follow.  The CBC is an annual event to census bird populations in and around the Helena valley.  Nine  leaders will take groups into the valley in search of birds that call the Helena area their home in the winter season.  Group size is not limited and all are welcome regardless of ability to identify birds.  We need sharp eyes and ears, and our leaders fill focus on assisting the groups with ID of the various species seen and heard.

Please plan to meet at Jorgenson’s Restaurant at 7AM on Saturday, December 14th.  Groups will leave around 7:45 to begin surveying.  The potluck will be held at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church at 5:30PM.  Please bring a place setting and drink for yourself and a dish to share.  See you there!
